Nostalgic cafe of Shimonoseki

Yesterday, I found a wonderful cafe in Shimonoseki. I seem to make the post office which is what the oldest in Japan a cafe. It is stylish space relaxing very much.
There is today's lunch, too and seems to perform various entertainments. Of course the main seems to be a wedding ceremony. I had you show a lot of wonderful photographs. It is very close to kamonwafu. I recommend a calling by all means. The name of the cafe is called "an irex" (tarayo). With the appearance that the neighboring building is nostalgic, the Furukawa Building of Wakamatsu of Kitakyusyu is such a feeling, too. It is a thank for wonderful people using the old cityscape carefully.

Rice cake making

There became only 4 days left more this year. "The forest of peace finished the redecoration of New Year holidays, too", and kadomatsu and decorating with sacred straw festoons were possible. And it is rice cake making today. It was old-fashioned and steamed sticky rice early in the morning and made rice cake with a mortar and a mallet. I increased the people of the firefighting team and the foreign student from China in local one and this year and had fun time.
It becomes the feeling to finally greet the New Year when rice cake making is over. It was substantial one year this year though I was busy. I toast the effort of all!

There are only 5 days left with an early thing this year.
While "the forest of peace" shows colored leaves and fallen leaves, beautiful green and various scenery, I am going to invite new age.
Of the Old Wakino lake where this mountain matched 130 million years ago know partly, and have new emotion.
It will be rice cake making next week.

Hortitherapy presentation at the meeting in the United States

I announced it in an American hortitherapy society held in California Pasadena in early October of this year.
I enroll in this society for three years and announce it every year in the United States. It is Washington, the the United States's biggest society which can study the hortitherapy with Kentucky Lexington and the introduction of each splendid garden last year the year before last.
I gave a presentation on "a dementia elderly person and hortitherapy" under the theme of the joy of being alive this year. The someone familiar increased and was able to have a lot of happy time.
I will look forward to it next year.

Elderly person power

I went to the concert of the Okura my dream chorus nearby on 23rd.
A member was only one 65 years or older, and this year was the organization tenth anniversary, and there was the commemorative concert.
A lot of acquaintances were the time when it was sung vigorously and was fun in one of the Mutaguchi and member of the karano piano at first.
The mast boys and girls chorus where I made a leader appeared on the way, and it was healed on Christmas of the pretty child by a song.
The story of the concert in the toin lobby of the Okura my dream is given spring later again next year.
